Excavation, base course, boxing and reinforcing, set to the right levels and falls.

Concrete placed by truck or pump and spread, screeded and compacted.

The finish you chose: trowel, broom, exposed aggregate, coloured and more, plus saw-cut joints.

Curing & aftercare
We let it cure properly and tell you when it’s ready to walk and drive on.

Patio FAQs
Which finish is best for a patio or pool surround?
One with grip, especially near a pool: broom or exposed aggregate. A smooth trowel finish can be slippery when wet, so it suits covered areas better.
Will water drain off my patio?
Yes. We lay patios with a gentle fall away from the house, so rain runs off instead of pooling against the walls.
Can you pour around a pool?
Yes. You can see pool surrounds we’ve poured in the projects on this page.
Do you do paths and steps too?
Yes. Paths, walkways and steps, like the path and steps up the hill in our photos.
