  • 02

    Reinforcement

Mesh, steel and pods placed where the engineer’s design puts them.

Foundation FAQs

Do you work with my builder and engineer’s plans?

Yes. We prepare the site, set the reinforcement and pour to the approved plans, working alongside your builder.

What kind of foundations do you do?

Standard slabs and pod floors, like the pod foundation in our photos. The type of foundation is set by your engineer’s design; we build what’s on the plans.

Do house foundations need a building consent?

Yes. Foundations for a new house are part of the building consent, which your builder or designer arranges. The council normally inspects the reinforcement before the pour, and we work to that timing.

Can you pour on a sloping or hard-to-reach site?

Yes. Where the truck can’t get close we bring in a concrete pump, like for the house slab at Mill Bay in our photos.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Quotes and site visits are both free. Call 021 0270 7750 or use the quote form on this page.
